University Authors' Day - Edward Vidaurre - Author Visits In-Person
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is hosting its 23rd annual University Authors' Day on Thursday, April 27th, from 6:30-7:30pm in the Mary and Jeff Bell Library. The event is free and open to the public. Edward Vidaurre is the event's keynote speaker. He is an award-winning post and author of eight poetry collections He is the 2018-2019 City of McAllen, Texas, Poet Laureate, 2022 inductee to the Texas Institute of Letter, and publisher of FlowerSong Press. His writings have appeared in The New York Times, The Texas Observer, Los Angeles Review of Books, as well as other journals and anthologies. University Authors' Day is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the TAMU-CC English Department and the Mary and Jeff Bell Library. For more information, email David.Wallace@tamucc.edu.
